Boom.

God continues to show His abundant love for His people.

#1 He is showing me great love by allowing another fun friend to join our team! Christen, a friend in Birmingham, is joining the ranks and heading with us to Africa! (Can't you hear the Toto song "Africa" playing in the background?) See Christen's picture added to the side bar.

#2 He is showing His great love to His children in Uganda and Kenya by continuing to draw more of us to go to them. Hear me when I say this: this trip is not all about us going to "enlighten them" in any way. (Just because we are Americans, we do not know more). We will learn amazing things through the people we meet, certainly. We will see faith and joy in new and beautiful ways through the eyes of people who have so little, yet have gained the world. So few "things" yet such a love for their all-satisfying Creator. They will teach us much about having little...yet believing in an all-provisional God.

I can't wait to share life with these precious children and get to know more of God's character through them.
